Peaceful Paradise Beach
Paradise Beach is a great place to laze away a day.
It is on the south side of Patong Bay, about 3km from Patong's Bangla Road. The beach is only accessable by a private road, or by Longtail boat so you will need to pay for something if you venture here. Paradise Beach used to be a bit of a secret, but now it well known. You can swim most of the year, as a reef protects it from the prevailing low season wind and waves.
Paradise beach is best reached by motorscooter or car. You need to get as far south as you can on Patong main beach. There is a bridge over the small creek heading towards Amari Coral Beach Resort entrance. Go over the bridge,turn left immediately, and follow the road to the end. Do not deviate of this road. It will become a steep driveway, down a very steep hill. Our scooters from Motorbike Rental Phuket will negotiate the steep driveway no problem, but please be careful and avoid any sand or gravel patches.Go to the bottom, and you are there.
There is a restaurant and beach chairs available. Its compulsory to eat or hire a chair for 100Bt.
