This Day Trip gives you an appreciation of some of the West Coast Beaches. We start at Patong, then a photo oppurtunity at Kalim. Next stop is the Kamala Temple which was extensively damaged during the Tsunami. It is opposite the Kamala Beach. Refreshments at Baan Natacha Guesthouse if required. On to the Tsunami Monument. Up the hill from Kamala a quick photo point, then on to Laem Sing Lookout. This Veiwpoint has been recently built and has some spectacular scenery. Surin Beach is our next destination and a quick walk in the sand is well worth it. North of Surin Beach is Bang Tao, most of this beach is fronted by resorts and is hard to get access. The north end will afford us some room to park. We head north to Naithon Beach for a swim or paddle. This beach is not very crowded and is a great spot to laze around or sunbake. This is the northern most stop, we now head back to Patong stopping wherever you wish. If its a Wednesday or Friday, there is a Market in Kamala.
