Surin Beach, West Coast, Phuket
Surin is a delightful beach on the West Coast of Phuket.
Surin is a lot smaller than Patong and Karon, it's less than 500 meters long.
The beach is an ideal spot for swimming, snorkeling and fishing. The beach is also lined with a large range of seafood restaurants, ranging from budget to fine dining. Ample parking if you are driving yourself, and if you are on a scooter, you can park right next to the beach.
Surin can be reached from Patong, by going north, then through Kamala Village, and following the road further north for 5 Km. Turn left into the carpark at the Surin Police Station.
A popular restaurant is here is Pla Seafood Restaurant. The "carpet" is the sand, let the sand spill between your toes, as you eat in an upmarket atmosphere. It has some mixed reviews on Trip Advisor but it is a great spot.
